Radcliffe Community Cats

TNR Saves Lives

I moved to the neighborhood in September 2022 with my dog, Pablo. Somehow over the last few years I have evolved into the crazy cat lady.   I am involved with the TNR (Trap, Neuter, Return) program of the Humane Society of Washington County.

TNR cats are vaccinated and chipped, and the ear tip is clipped so you can recognize them from a distance.  Female cats are spayed, which results in no more litters of kittens, and no yowling when the cats are in heat. Male cats are neutered, which greatly decreases or eliminates mating behaviors like spraying and fighting with other male cats over territory.  The neighborhood is safer for our pet cats when community cats are TNR.

Kittens are ready to be socialized at about 4-8 weeks of age.  If you have kittens in your yard and would like help trapping and socializing them, please contact me.
